The sixth grade curriculum includes an IFL unit on "Identities."  As a part of the series of readings, I "wrote" a play using excerpts from three literary resources.  The lynchpin of the play was" Eleven" by Sandra Cisneros taken from the IFL unit.  The students acted out the parts of the play and developed a better understanding of the subject matter as a result.  This falls under the category of kinesthetic multi sensory teaching and learning. I was at School 5 when this was produced, but I use the read-aloud play each year in the sixth grade.
