I have been on the ScIP (School Improvement Panel) team at School 16 for two years since the school's inception.  The team consists of any faculty members in good standing in terms of their evaluations. They are asked to contribute to the successful implementation of plans discussed at the meetings. There is also a responsibility to connect with other faculty members for feedback.

ScIP is the anchor that keeps the school grounded and moving in the right direction.

The first year I was responsible for planning each month's meeting in conjunction with the NJ ScIP guidelines, taking the notes and distributing those notes to the staff.  The second year I was also on the committee  as a contributing member.
