I began the planning for this event in February 2018 in response to a grad school assignment to plan a school wide event.   I gathered the support of a teacher from the k-2 wing, a teacher from the 3-5 wing, a very connected para-educator also from the 3-5 wing and myself.  Several other teachers volunteered to actively participate on the day of the event to manage any eventuality. Over a  five (5) month-period, we managed to raise close to $4,000 to pay for it

This event involved interactions with the key administration officials from the vice principal to the assistant superintendent resulting in  successfully executed  plan.

It was definitely a "WE, not me" undertaking, thus the slogan, "Teams WORK.
